Director of Finance & Operations - Family Office - Lucrative comp package

A high performing, prestigious Dubai based family office is looking to hire a newly created ‘Director of Finance and Operations’.

The role is broad as it is hands‑on (across finance, operations, risk, portfolio analytics), it has management responsibilities for a small team (that will continue to expand next year), a project management focus (creating/leading major initiatives to improve existing non‑investment infrastructure) and a core relationship management component (managing multiple outsourced service providers / custodians / PB’s).

Candidates should come from a hedge fund / asset management background, with experience covering both finance and operations. Whilst not a pre‑requisite, there is a strong preference to hire a qualified accountant. Strong academics are required regardless of level of experience.

The role will offer salary that is comparable to what the highest paid hedge fund heads of operations / finance directors in financial hubs such as London receive + a sign on bonus / guarantee that will ensure that the hire does not lose out financially resigning pre‑bonus (+ a relocation bonus if applicable).
