Overview
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To ensure fleet-wide compliance with e-Enabling requirements by developing and maintaining e-Enabling for the fleet, enhancing the airline’s capabilities, improved operational efficiency, and effective integration of digital solutions across the airline’s operations.
Key Responsibilities- Implements, develops and maintains aircraft-to-ground communications infrastructure, E-Enabling process and architecture, and creates Aircraft Modification Information (AMI) Worksheets ensuring compliance with regulatory procedures for data security.
- Reviews all technical documentation (SB/SIL/VSB/MOM) related to the E-enabled ground and airplane system components issued by aircraft manufacturer or vendor and provide necessary recommendation actions.
- Communicates with external and internal stakeholders on E-Enabling related issues as required on a timely manner and assist them on technical matters.
- Evaluates, analyses and provides resolution for issues related to Onboard applications, Ground software, Air-to-ground communications software, portable devices & airplane connectivity.
- Coordinates with flydubai IT team for management of-enabled systems security certificate, access controls of E-Enabled Ground System (E-EGS) ground tools, system upgrades and enhancements of the Software configuration management tool.
- Manages end-to end software configuration, record keeping, creation of Customized software parts to support entry-into-service (EIS) as well as distribution of software parts in both physical as well as electronic distribution to the airplanes.
- Monitors fleetwide “As-flying” configuration and perform periodic comparison with the “As-authorized” to Identify any discrepancy and initiate necessary corrective action if required.
- Monitors and tracks Aircraft Health Monitoring (AHM) for service issues related to software management and airborne connectivity and issue necessary corrective action.
- Develops procedure sheet/ Technical instruction related to E-enabling system, implement and improve process defined on the Engineering Manual.
- Manages projects related to fleet connectivity, e-enabled infrastructure and related applications.
- Bachelor s Degree (3+ years)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or related field, or possession of an ICAO Type II License
- Fluent in English
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience working in airline engineering and maintenance along with 3+ years of experience on aircraft e-Enabling systems.

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
