Technical Manager - Architectural and Structural

Black & Grey HR is partnering with one of the UAE’s established construction and infrastructure companies in the UAE. Our client is looking to hire a Technical Manager – Structural & Architectural to lead the engineering and technical delivery of façade and structural steel projects. The role will be responsible for managing design coordination, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and supporting successful execution from design development through installation.

This role is vital in overseeing the technical delivery of large-scale civil and structural projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency across all project stages.

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and available resources.
• Oversee the technical development and execution of aluminium façade and structural steel packages across multiple projects.
• Review and validate design drawings, technical documents, and material specifications to ensure compliance with project and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless integration between design intent and on-site execution.
• Conduct site inspections and technical assessments to identify potential risks or deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to local authority regulations, international standards, and best construction practices.
• Provide expert technical guidance on construction methods, materials, and structural systems.
• Lead value engineering initiatives to optimize project cost, quality, and performance.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, materials, and methodologies in civil, structural, and architectural engineering.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture.
• Experience in civil, structural, or architectural project management within the construction industry.
• Hands‑on exposure to curtain wall, cladding, glazing systems, and architectural metal works is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles, building codes, and construction standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design or modeling software.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large‑scale projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality, safety, and technical precision.
