Job Description

ISO 45001 lead auditor, Nebosh IGC and Valid UAE Driving License.

• Responsible for implementation safety management systems at Factory and Project Sites.
• Regular site visits and ensuring health and safety of all employees
• Responsible to ensure elimination of occupational hazards
• Reporting to Factory and HSE Manager
• Responsible for compliance with government regulations and legislations (Eg : DM, DCD, Sharjah Municipality etc.)
• Responsible for imparting safety training programs
• Inspecting the shop floor on daily basis and identification of hazards and ensuring the compliance
• Hazard identification & communication.
• Preparation of Risk Assessment in consultation with Engineer, Worker Representatives, Factory & HSE Manager.
• Implementing "COSHH" (control of substances hazardous to health) assessments, obtaining hazardous waste disposal permits from DM / SM / DCD.
• Implementing safe system of works & permit system.
• Overlook inspection & maintenance checklist of all Fire fighting equipment'
• Accident / incident and near miss investigations and reporting.
• Liaising with the Authorities / Client / interested parties for all Safety related tasks.
• Initiating disciplinary action notice against the violators including sub-contractors.
• Emergency preparedness and escalations.
• Taking corrective action on NCRs.
