Sr. Project Manager - Ship Repair

Our client, a leading ship repair company in Dubai, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Project Manager to oversee their ship repair projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably in the shipbuilding or ship repair industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee all aspects of ship repair projects, from planning to execution

- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets

- Monitor project progress and ensure that it is completed within the agreed timeline and budget

- Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution

- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may arise during the project

- Manage project resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment

- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards

- Communicate project updates and progress to clients and stakeholders

- Conduct project evaluations and make recommendations for improvement

- Mentor and guide project team members to ensure their professional development

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in ship repair project management

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field

- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the shipbuilding or ship repair industry

- Strong knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and tools

- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Proven track record of successfully managing complex ship repair projects

- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in the shipbuilding industry

- Proficient in project management software and tools

- Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed

- Fluency in English & Arabic, both written and verbal

- PMP certification is a plus.
