B2B Sales Engineer – Recycling Machinery & Solid Waste Systems; UAE

The company delivers advanced recycling and material recovery systems designed to improve operational efficiency, automation, and sustainability across industrial sectors.

Our recycling division focuses on turnkey solutions including shredding, size reduction, washing, separation, and material recovery systems for plastics, industrial waste, and post‑consumer streams.

We are seeking a technically strong Sales Engineer based in the UAE with proven expertise in recycling and size‑reduction machinery.

This role requires in‑depth knowledge of shredders, granulators, crushers, washing lines, separation systems, and integrated recycling plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating material streams, designing system configurations, and delivering technically sound, application‑driven solutions to industrial clients.

This position is heavily technical and requires strong engineering competence in addition to commercial capability.

• Conduct technical assessments of client material streams (polymer types, contamination levels, moisture content, throughput requirements, output specifications).
• Design and configure recycling systems.
• Perform throughput calculations, sizing analysis, and system layout planning.
• Prepare detailed technical–commercial proposals including:
  • Equipment specifications
  • Utility requirements (power, water, compressed air)
  • Footprint and integration considerations
• Support client meetings with strong technical presentations.
• Provide commissioning support and technical troubleshooting when required.
• Monitor UAE environmental regulations and industrial compliance requirements.
• Represent AFC MENA in technical discussions, site visits, and industry exhibitions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–8 years of hands‑on experience in recycling machinery, plastic processing systems, or industrial size‑reduction equipment.
• Strong understanding of Shredding and granulation principles, Plastic washing and separation processes, System integration and plant layout
• Ability to read technical drawings, GA layouts, and process flow diagrams.
• Experience preparing technical proposals and cost estimations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Based in the UAE and willing to travel for site visits.

Involvement in technically challenging recycling projects.
