Jr. Project Engineer – Installation plays a key role in supporting the execution of elevator installation projects while ensuring compliance with Otis standards, safety policies, timelines, and customer expectations. The role requires hands‑on experience in elevator/lift installation, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage site‑level activities efficiently.

• Project Execution & Site Management:
  Assist in planning, organizing, and executing installation activities for elevators as per Otis procedures and project timelines.
• Supervise installation teams and subcontractors to ensure safe and high‑quality execution at the site.
• Review installation drawings, technical documents, and material requirements prior to commencement of work.
• Monitor daily site progress and prepare regular progress reports for the Project Manager.
• Quality & Safety Compliance:
  Implement Otis safety standards and ensure all site personnel follow safety regulations.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and ensure compliance with method statements and risk assessments.
• Carry out quality checks during various stages of installation to ensure adherence to Otis quality protocols.
• Coordination & Communication:
  Coordinate with internal teams including engineering, logistics, and quality to ensure seamless project execution.
• Liaise with customers, consultants, and main contractors regarding site readiness, technical issues, and progress updates.
• Attend project meetings and provide accurate technical inputs when required.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  Maintain site installation documentation including checklists, inspection reports, and safety records.
• Support the handover process by ensuring all installation activities are completed, tested, and certified as required.
• Assist in resolving site‑based technical issues and escalating complex issues to senior engineers or project managers.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in elevator/lift installation, preferably with a leading elevator company.
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical installation practices related to vertical transportation systems.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, safety practices, and local regulations.

• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation schematics.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for site coordination.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, reporting tools).
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Primarily site‑based role requiring daily presence at project sites.
• Occasional travel between multiple installation sites as required.
