Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in mechanical design and a background in fabrication or manufacturing environments. This role involves designing mechanical components, preparing technical drawings, and supporting fabrication and installation processes for custom projects.

• Create detailed mechanical designs, assemblies, and fabrication drawings.
• Develop 3D models and technical drawings using Solid Works and AutoCAD
  .
• Coordinate with fabrication teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
• Assist in preparing bill of materials (BOM), material specifications, and technical documentation.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to develop solutions for custom mechanical systems.
• Review prototypes and fabricated parts to ensure design accuracy and quality.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Solid Works and AutoCAD

• Experience with Sketch Up is a plus.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to read and produce detailed engineering drawings.
• Good problem‑solving and communication skills.

• Experience with sheet metal design and structural components.
• Familiarity with fabrication workflows and workshop practices.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced project environment.
