Site Engineer - Mechanical

Job Summary

The Site Engineer – Mechanical is responsible for supervising and executing mechanical works at site, ensuring HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems are installed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and safety standards.

• Supervise installation of HVAC systems (ducting, chilled water piping, FCUs, AHUs), plumbing, and firefighting works.
• Ensure execution as per approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with electrical, civil, and other MEP disciplines to avoid clashes and ensure smooth progress.
• Monitor manpower, materials, and daily site productivity.
• Conduct inspections, pressure testing, and support testing & commissioning activities.
• Liaise with consultants and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, HSE standards, and local authority regulations.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain site documentation.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in MEP mechanical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Experience in High‑rise Residential or Commercial Projects Preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and coordination layouts.
• Good communication and site coordination skills.
