Senior Process Engineer; Oil and Gas, Midstream

Looking for Senior Process Engineer with 10 to 15 years in oil and gas industry, fluent in process designs, process software and having site experience. Has strong communication and organization skills, must be action oriented and willing to embrace new challenges.

• Coordinate and collaborate with process lead/Discipline manager to determine project objective for the process team within the project.
• Provide appropriate process engineering input to design activities undertaken by other inter‑discipline engineering within the project team.
• Interface with other disciplines, vendors, and other parties with process engineering.
• Ensure that the deliverables provided to the project are technically accurate, within scope, budget and schedule, and in compliance with quality procedures and project plans.
• Provide leadership/mentorship for the junior process engineer so he/she succeeds in the given task.
• Contribute to the process team to create a good working environment and a strong team spirit.
• Execute Feasibility Studies / Conceptual Design / Process Studies.
• Develop and assist others’ process engineering in key design documents (Heat & Material Balance, PFD, P&, Data Sheets, etc.).
• Be fluent with process softwares such as Hysys, Flare Net, Pro Max, etc.
• Have good knowledge of line hydraulics (line sizing, pumps, control valves), PSV sizing, blowdown and equipment sizing.
• Act as representative in Technical Design Reviews (P&, HAZOP, SIL, HAZID, client and vendor meetings).
• Assist project engineering leads and managers in project design and execution according to contract and client needs.
• Adept at writing technical reports, scopes of work and technical queries.
• Recognize problems and discrepancies in work process, suggest improvements and request help when needed.

• Comply with company values and QA system.
• Responsible for a process design that operates safely and adheres to the NOV HSE and quality requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HSE and quality within the project and everyday office environment.

• Responsible for the completion of tasks and ensure that process engineering deliverables are within the allowable budget and time agreed in the contract.

• Work closely with process lead to align strategic decisions with planning activities. Delegate and follow up work assigned to other process engineers.

• Utilize the PEM, carry out tasks given in accordance to the company policies and procedures, and communicate, integrate and cooperate with other disciplines to achieve common goals.

• Familiar with the principles of safe process engineering design.
• Familiar with PEM.

• Execute projects according to PEM.
• Follow‑up activities within the process group, assist/guide junior process engineers to fulfill the process tasks.

• Work closely with process team members and process lead within the project to ensure the quality of process documents and deliveries.
• Good team spirits.

• Strong chemical engineering basis.
• Extensive experience in oil & gas industry (Midstream) in EPC.
• Good knowledge of industry standards such as API, Shell DEP, Saudi ARAMCO, ADNOC standards.
• Good knowledge in package design such as gas treatment, oil treatment and produced water treatment.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
