Senior Structural Engineer; Buildings & Towers

-MUST HAVE a SOE member with a valid Dubai Municipality Registration - ARABIC SPEAKERS ONLY

The Senior Structural Engineer will lead and manage the structural design, analysis, and coordination of building projects ranging from high‑rise towers and commercial complexes to institutional facilities and mixed‑use developments. The Senior Structural Engineer will ensure that all designs are safe, cost‑effective, and compliant with relevant international codes and local authority requirements, while delivering to the project's architectural and functional intent.

• Lead conceptual, preliminary, and detailed structural design of reinforced concrete and steel structures
• Develop and verify 3D structural models using ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, or Robot
• Prepare and review structural drawings, GA drawings, reinforcement detailing, and design calculation reports
• Ensure compliance with BS EN 1990–1999 (Eurocodes), ACI 318, AISC, BS 8110, and local authority standards
• Design foundations (isolated, combined, raft, pile), retaining walls, shear walls, transfer beams, and slabs
• Coordinate seismic and wind load analysis for towers and high‑rise structures per ASCE 7 / UBC / Eurocode 8
• Review shop drawings, connection details, and method statements from contractors
• Ensure structural adequacy for MEP and architectural openings, façade systems, and podium transfers

• Collaborate with Architects, MEP Engineers, and Geotechnical Consultants to resolve design coordination issues
• Attend design coordination and progress meetings with clients and contractors
• Provide technical support during tendering and construction, including RFI responses and site queries
• Review and approve materials submittals for structural components (concrete, steel, anchors, etc.)
• Support value engineering exercises to optimise structure without compromising safety or function

• Ensure all designs are code‑compliant, safe, and buildable
• Maintain quality assurance procedures throughout design and review stages
• Prepare and submit design reports, design basis statements, and calculation packages for authority approvals
• Liaise with local authorities for design approvals and structural safety certification
• Ensure proper document control and version management of drawings and reports
• Supervise and guide junior structural engineers and draftsmen in design and detailing
• Review team deliverables to ensure technical accuracy and consistency
• Support training and knowledge‑sharing within the structural team
• Contribute to the development of structural design standards and templates for the company

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering — Master's degree preferred
• 8–15 years of experience in structural design of buildings and towers
• Proven track record across high‑rise, commercial, residential, institutional, and mixed‑use projects
• Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, Revit Structure, AutoCAD, and Excel‑based calculations
• Familiarity with seismic design, value engineering, and post‑tensioned slab design is a strong advantage
• Strong coordination skills with MEP and architectural design teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng / MIE / SOE)
• Knowledge of LEED / sustainability design principles
• HSE and site safety awareness certification
