Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chemical Engineer to join our client’s team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing chemical processes and production systems while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical abilities, and hands-on experience in process engineering and plant operations.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement chemical manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Conduct process simulations, testing, and optimization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor production processes and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and R&D.
- Evaluate raw materials, energy usage, and waste management methods for process improvement.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety procedures.
- Participate in plant commissioning, start-up, and shutdown operations.
- Recommend process improvements and cost‑saving initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3–7 years of relevant experience in chemical manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial processing environments.
- Knowledge of process design software and engineering tools.
- Familiarity with international engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Professional certifications or memberships will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of chemical process design and optimization.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, CHEMCAD, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Project management and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on safety and quality.
