Elliot Scott Group are currently working with a well-established

Dubai-based consultancy seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Mid-Level Civil Engineer to join their growing project delivery team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong UAE consultancyexperience who enjoys being hands-on across cost control, technicalcoordination, and project management on multiple construction projects.

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting project delivery across a range ofdevelopments, ensuring commercial control, compliance, and technicalcoordination from pre- to post-contract stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing andreviewing cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation
  • Managing pre-and post-contract deliverables
  • Assessingcontractor variations, claims, interim valuations, and final accounts
  • Monitoringproject timelines and reporting on progress and deviations
  • Conducting siteinspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
  • Supportingvalue engineering and cost optimisation initiatives
  • Preparing detailed technical and commercial reports for clients and senior management
  • Ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, local authority requirements, and FIDICcontract conditions
Requirements
  • Bachelor’sDegree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
  • 5–7 years ofUAE experience (consultancy background preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices and consultant-side workflows
  • Solid understanding of FIDIC contracts, cost control, and variation management
  • Proficient inAutoCAD, MS Office, and QS tools such as CostX or Plan Swift
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Ability tomanage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
