- Compile and maintain mandatory Code of Practice to combat rock bursts and rock falls. Mapping of geological structures for geotechnical/rock engineering and mine design purposes.
- Analyze and interpret rock engineering data and information to identify changes in the production environment, defects and safety risks.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure non-conformances are proactively addressed and aligned with rock engineering requirements/ standards.
- Develop quality controls to ensure alignment of operational rock engineering interventions, systems and processes with standardized requirements as well as policies, procedures and operating standards.
- Chamber of Mines Rock Engineering Certificate.
- B Eng Mining Engineering/BSc Geology or equivalent.
- 5 Years operational experience in the Geotechnical environment.
- Exposure with both Open Cast and Underground Mining environments.
- Code B Driver’s license.
- Medical Fitness Certificate.
