Job Description
- Familiarize himself/herself with the design and layout of all the AV Systems. Obtain an understanding of operating procedures related to such.
- Installs, repairs and maintains equipment such as amplifier, CD Player, Loud Speaker and electrical equipment.
- Configuring Audio, Video and Light Systems.
- Troubleshooting technical issues, diagnosing and correcting faults under Audio, Video and Lighting.
- Design AV systems for clients and projects.
- Aid in AV and lighting projects and installation.
- Provide technical support in live events.
- Perform safe operation methods and procedures in troubleshooting of all AV systems including line amplifiers, and speakers.
- Report any unusual findings or safety hazards immediately to the Director of Engineering/Maintenance Manager.
- Able to perform multi-skilled tasks whenever required.
- Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property required
- Pre-opening experience is an advantage
- Proven work experience as an AV Technician.
- Active listening and effective communication skills
- Flexibility to work in shifts
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
