Senior MEP Engineer Consultant

We seek an experienced Senior MEP Engineer to lead the design, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of MEP experience with proven expertise in managing complex systems from design through commissioning, including comprehensive cost estimation and complete project package preparation.

• Develop and oversee MEP design drawings (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, ELV, etc.) in compliance with local and international codes (DEWA, DM, DCD, etc.).
• Prepare technical submissions including BOQs, load calculations, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Lead project planning, resource allocation, risk assessment, and execution across multiple MEP projects.
• Interface with consultants, stakeholders, and government authorities for approvals, inspections, and coordination.
• Conduct site inspections, energy audits, retrofitting recommendations, and system commissioning.
• Supervise and manage AMC, PPM schedules, and operations of MEP systems in various facilities.
• Coordinate procurement processes, vendor negotiations, and cost control as per project budgets.
• Implement sustainability and energy-efficient systems in line with Green Building Regulations.
• Ensure all activities are in line with HSE guidelines and quality assurance standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide site teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BE/AMIE)
• Diploma in Electrical and Energy Management Technology
• Over 10 years of diverse experience in MEP Design, Project Execution, and Maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV/HV, Fire Alarm Systems, HVAC, ELV, Automation, Water Supply, Drainage, and Renewable Energy Systems.
• Approved engineer by Dubai Municipality, DEWA, ADDC, and Trakhees with working knowledge of SEWA regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, Lighting Simulation Tools (CG Lux, RELUX) and cost estimation software.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing complete project packages and handling multiple sites concurrently.
• Valid UAE Driving License (essential for multi-site coordination).
