A well established, international storage tank manufacturing firm is looking for a hands‑on Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations (linear and non‑linear) to verify structural and fluid performance.

• Hands‑on Mechanical Design work, performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations.
• Verify structural and fluid performance for storage tank products.
• Use Solid Works for design and Solid Works Simulation for analysis.
• Apply ADR (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) knowledge in designs.
• Understand manufacturing processes, including welding, forming and machining.

• 3+ years experience in Mechanical Design with hands‑on expertise in FEA and CFD.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally for storage tanks or similar.
• Solid Works Design and Solid Works Simulation user experience.
• Technical understanding of manufacturing processes (welding, forming, machining).
• Degree qualified or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
