Planning Engineer - Snr

Your Role

Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will be responsible for developing the full MEP execution strategy from tender stage through project initiation, ensuring the project scope is translated into a logical, risk-controlled and monitorable programme.

• Convert drawings and specifications into logical sequencing and execution strategy
• Prepare execution methodology and presentation for client/post-tender meetings
• Develop engineering deliverables schedule (drawings, material submittals, method statements)

• Perform delay analysis and variance tracking
• Maintain constraint register and highlight critical risks
• Conduct probabilistic completion analysis and forecasting
• Track site productivity and identify corrective actions

• Setup long-lead material trackers and priority matrices
• Develop labour histogram and staff loading schedule
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams
• Support EOT and claims preparation with planning analysis

• Produce progress, risk and performance reports
• Prepare client presentations (PPT)
• Setup project trackers and initialization reports

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 6+ years MEP planning experience
• Strong experience developing baseline programme (not only updates)
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines

• Power BI, Navisworks, or BIM-linked planning exposure
• Experience presenting programme to clients
