Civil Engineer​/Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit structural drawings and calculations to Dubai Municipality for approval.
• Ensure all submissions comply with DM codes, regulations, and G+4 requirements.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and design teams to resolve technical issues.
• Provide structural design input for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Attend site inspections and technical meetings when required.
• Maintain updated knowledge of DM codes, structural standards, and approval processes.
• Provide technical guidance during tender documentation and construction stages.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Valid Dubai Municipality Engineer License (Category: G+4).
• Proven experience in DM submissions and approvals is essential.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and structural standards.
• Proficient in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, AutoCAD, and related structural software.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Experience working in design/consultancy offices in Dubai.
• Knowledge of other authority requirements (Trakhees, DDA, DCD) is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple submissions simultaneously.
