Senior Project Manager - Water Projects

Overview

Our client is an international engineering consultancy based in Dubai.

The Senior Project Manager will lead a design management project on one of the largest sewerage treatment plant projects in the UAE.

• Lead and coordinate the full design management process from concept through detailed design and authority approvals.
• Act as the primary interface between client, designers, specialist sub consultants and internal disciplines.
• Manage scope, programme, budget and resources to ensure design deliverables are issued on time and to required quality.
• Oversee multidisciplinary design coordination including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, process and instrumentation.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, codes, standards and permitting processes in Dubai and the UAE.
• Identify and manage design risks, interfaces and constructability issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Chair and lead design reviews, technical workshops and progress meetings with senior stakeholders.
• Review and approve key design deliverables to ensure alignment with project objectives, performance criteria and operational needs.
• Manage change control, design variations and value engineering initiatives throughout the design lifecycle.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the design management team while maintaining strong governance and reporting frameworks.

• 15+ years experience
• 2+ years UAE experience
• A proven track record leading an STP project from start to finish
• A stable work history working for tier 1 engineering consultants
