Estimation Engineer -Infrastructure Projects

Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates and BOQs for infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, and civil works. The role involves quantity take-offs, cost analysis, budgeting, and coordination with project and site teams to ensure financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs for roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, and associated civil works.
• Analyze project scope and identify cost risks and opportunities.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for pricing accuracy.

• Develop project cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor project budget utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track variations and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Evaluate and verify interim payment applications submitted by contractors.
• Assist in preparation and closure of final accounts.
• Maintain measurement records and supporting documentation.

• Prepare variation orders and analyze contractual claims.
• Maintain variation registers and cost impact reports.
• Support dispute resolution with proper cost justification.

• Assist in reviewing contract terms and ensuring compliance.
• Support tender evaluation and bid comparisons.
• Maintain contractual documentation and audit records.

• Conduct site measurements and verify executed quantities.
• Coordinate with site engineers and project managers for work certification.
• Ensure alignment between site execution and estimated quantities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 5–14 years of experience in infrastructure or civil construction projects
