Project Director - Facade; Burj Azizi Project

We are seeking a visionary Project Director of Aluminum Operations to lead the end-to-end execution of the complex façade and aluminum systems for the landmark Burj Azizi
. This role is critical in delivering a 133-storey structure featuring high-performance glass and aluminum panels designed for extreme altitudes and desert wind loads.

• Strategic Leadership: Direct all phases of aluminum operations, from design coordination and factory fabrication to on-site installation of unitized curtain walls.
• Vertical Logistics: Oversee complex supply chain and hoisting strategies for aluminum components across 130+ floors.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical bridge between the main contractor (Gardinia Contracting), and specialized aluminum suppliers.
• Technical Oversight: Ensure all systems meet rigorous safety and performance standards for a supertall tower, including structural wind resistance and solar heat gain reduction.
• Financial Accountability: Manage multi-million dirham budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency, variation control, and timely procurement of high-grade materials.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: 15–20+ years in construction, with at least 8–10 years specialized in Aluminum & Glazing/Façade for high-rise or supertall projects in the UAE/GCC.
• Expertise: Deep knowledge of unitized curtain wall systems
  , structural glazing, and advanced fabrication techniques.
• Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and specialized construction management tools.
