Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee the installation, maintenance, and management of electrical systems on construction sites. You will be expected to manage electrical operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards. As an Electrical Site Engineer, you will collaborate with project managers and other engineers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of electrical fieldwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Manage and oversee the installation and maintenance of electrical systems on site.
- Ensure all electrical activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to engineering standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to establish project timelines and budgets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical equipment and systems on site.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of electrical operations and procedures.
- Supervise and support junior engineers and site technicians as needed.
- Participate in project meetings to provide input on electrical engineering matters.
- Conduct electrical system tests and evaluations to ensure reliable operation.
- Review and approve electrical designs and plans for construction projects.
- Develop and implement strategies for efficient execution of site electrical operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in electrical engineering in a construction setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and industry health and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
- Strong project management skills and experience in budget and timeline management.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
