Senior Specialist - Electrical; EPC, FSO, FPSO
Act as Technical Authority with corporate accountability for technical delivery across Electrical Engineering disciplines. Support Director - EPC Engineering (Hull & Marine) on strategy stewardship on capability development, sustainment and industry engagements.
Day-to-day operations:- Manage technical stewardship and due diligence of project deliverables for Electrical engineering discipline and interface with counterparts across Floater and Topside Facilities disciplines.
- Provide support to EPC functional and business leadership on market developments, competitor assessment, corporate business strategy developments.
- Support leadership team on career path development and sustainment for discipline members on functional and project delivery roles.
- Ownership on specific Management of Change procedures for respective disciplines on large capital projects.
- Steward quality assurance and Management of Change procedures on Electrical engineering discipline.
- Experience with in the offshore Oil & Gas sector, particularly within FSO, FPSO, drilling units, semi-submersibles, FSRU projects.
- Experience in developing high-standard electrical solutions, including single-line diagrams (SLD), load lists, cable schedules, grounding, and equipment specifications (switchboards, transformers, UPS).
- Practical experience as a Package Engineer, leading multidisciplinary teams, providing technical support, and ensuring project integrity.
- Knowledge of international standards (IEC, IEEE), regulations, and class rules.
- Experience in preparing technical reports, specifications, calculations (load flow, short circuits), and reviewing vendor documents (FAT/SAT).
- Good knowledge of LV/HV systems and relevant standards.
- Experience in Functional Safety (IEC 61511).
- Working experience with Microsoft platforms such as SharePoint, One Drive and Office suite.
- Hands-on experience with 2D drafting tools such as AutoCAD or similar, 3D modelling environment such as AVEVA E3D or similar, NURBS modelling tools such as Rhinoceros 3D or similar.
- Expertise in using design tool such as ETAP, AGi
32 or equivalent. - Preferable to have experience with developing workflow automation tools using Excel VBA Macros / Python or equivalent scripting frameworks.

Minimum cumulative experience 10+ years of experience as Principal Engineer in two or more of the following industry players:
(1) Tier – I EPCIC Turnkey Services and Contractor Organizations as Principal and Subject Matter Expert roles.
(2) Specialists’ offshore floater / subsea engineering service providers with track record on floater / mooring system concept definition to construction follow up / handover phase ownership.
(3) Offshore Production Units Lease-Own-Operate organizations.
Functional membership in industrial networks such as IEEE / IMAREST and similar organizations.
Strong network with OEMs and engineering service industry.
