Main Activities- Provide front and back office pre‑sales technical support for the End User Commercial organization.
- Visit customers (End Users and associated consultants, EPC, System Integrators) where there are qualified opportunities. Qualified opportunities are those formally identified and documented in the business plan.
- Within the requirements and constraints of the solution/application being considered, recommend and design a competitive architecture (based on Plant Struxure) and recommend system implementation which optimally meets the customer needs and requirements.
- Introduce and promote the complete Industry Business Architecture offer in terms of strengths and weaknesses and possibilities.
- Build demos to help the customer visualize the main solution concepts (proof of concept - POC).
- Be the main technical customer interface for solution projects and work closely with Regional Competency Centers.
- Provide expert support: assist/lead the system & architecture definition with the customer and create value by advising the customer on advanced issues (Principles, feasibility, limits & constraints, performance).
- Provide recommendations & support in terms of migration from or interconnectivity with the Industry Business Legacy offer.
- Answer deep technical questions on integration/compatibility of components inside an architecture.
- Develop and write the required technical proposal document and validate the proposed commercial documents.
Help to secure the order by providing differentiating elements to the Commercial team for the proposal.
The System Architecture Expert in coordination with the sales force is to actively detect and follow up leads to reorient towards billable pre‑sales / pre‑project services, such as pre‑project consultation, feasibility studies, site audits.
The System Architecture Expert is responsible for the Development and project tracking aspect of the Industrial Account Planning and Development process in relation to our System Integrators and Industrial Distributors. In this capacity, the System Architecture Expert works with our partners to engage with our installed base to maintain and develop new opportunities related to life cycle management services.

- Work with Industry Business Solutions V.P. Team, product Business Units to enhance Industry Business product, system & solution offer.

The candidate must have relevant experience in designing solution architectures in the Industry Business system platforms focusing on End User customers and understands the possibilities and limitations of these platforms.
Minimum to enter in the position- Worked as a Technical Expert/application designer or related background.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in designing and/or problem solving in industrial automation.
- Expertise in local region standards.
- Expertise in communication protocols and is software systems design.
- Preferable experience with Schneider Electric technology.
- Preferable experience within an End User target Segment or Channel Partner.
- Technical education and/or engineering degree.
