ALGH Jebel Ali is the central location managing the Worldwide Helium Balance (Supply - Demand) and controlling the Air Liquide Helium ISO Containers fleet used to transport refrigerated Helium between WW sources and customers.
Responsibilities- Inspect and repair the containers, perform regulatory maintenance as per DOT regulation, and monitor Helium parameters transmitted daily by telemetry system.
- Provide technical assistance to customers or third‑party carriers during transit or utilization of the container at destination.
- Develop a culture that encourages safety and safety‑related reporting: near‑miss incidents, behavioral safety visits, and anomaly hunting.
- Assess and improve the Quality Management System.
- Maintain quality, safety, and environmental systems; implement and audit to achieve compliance with ISO 9001.
- Implement Road Safety Procedure for Helium transport in accordance with AL standards.
- Provide QHSE support to Logistics for root cause analysis.
- Review site and logistics procedures to meet AL standards and ISO 9001.
- Develop and report all site QHSE KPIs in coordination with the AL Maritime QHSE Manager.
- Follow up on action plans related to event reporting (BSV, near misses, incidents/accidents).
- Animate monthly QHSE meetings for all employees.
- Ensure proper safety induction for all visitors, contractors, and new arrivals.
- Conduct supplier quality and safety audits as part of the internal auditors team.
- Lead continuous improvement management, identify and implement projects that support plant‑wide adoption of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Create a sustainable continuous improvement culture across the organization.
- Develop CI methods in the workshop (5S, Kanban).
- Lead regular improvement workshops, coordinate with the plant manager to identify areas for improvement, facilitate workshops, involve everyone, and sustain gains.
- Visually track results in the workshop and publicize them.
- Improve team problem‑solving and involve everyone.
- Collect and report customer claims (internal or external) and ensure proper actions are in place and closed in a timely manner with relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate with affiliates on action plans, measure impact, and close claims.
- Develop and monitor customer claims indicators.
- Knowledge of job‑specific know‑how.
- Master’s degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in quality management at an industrial site.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard and Health and Safety Management.
- Comfortable developing the company’s QHSE systems and encouraging a culture of safety.
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Regulations (ADR, IMDG, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written English; the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the company.
- French speaking is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of continuous improvement tools, methodologies, and practices (lean, 5S).
- Familiarity with databases and generating key performance indicators.
- Knowledge of root‑cause analysis.
- Hard competence skills.
- Computer literacy with the Google environment, proficient typing skills.
- Time management and balancing multiple priorities.
- Self‑motivated and able to work in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment.

- Provide QHSE leadership, training, and operational support to all levels of the organization.
