We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and contractors working on stormwater drainage projects.

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for stormwater drainage projects in accordance with company and industry standards
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Provide safety training and orientation to new employees and contractors
• Investigate and report on any safety incidents or near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
• Maintain accurate records of safety training, inspections, and incidents
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure safety measures are integrated into project plans and schedules
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to stormwater drainage safety
• Participate in safety meetings and communicate safety-related information to project teams
• Proactively identify and address potential safety issues and provide recommendations for improvement

• Minimum of 10-years of experience in a safety role, preferably in the construction, engineering industry or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to stormwater drainage projects
• Certification in NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate or equivalent, OSHAD - Qudorat official Registration
