Commercial Manager - MEP

Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Commercial Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all commercial aspects of projects related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) contracting, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize project profitability.
• Review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance to ensure targets are met.
• Provide commercial support to the project team and resolve any contractual disputes.
• Conduct risk assessment and develop mitigation plans to minimize financial exposure.
• Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Construction Management
• MRICS or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
• Courses in Contract Management Preferred.
• 15 Years of Experience in Commercial Management of MEP works.

• In-depth knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
• Strong understanding of commercial and contract management within the construction industry.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and develop pricing strategies.
• Project management skills to oversee large-scale MEP projects.
• Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Leadership qualities to manage a team effectively.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in the construction sector.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.
