Civil Engineer private construction projects

PIPECARE Group is currently looking for Civil Engineer [for the private construction projects] to join our office in Dubai, UAE.

A Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures in private sector projects. He/she must ensure that all projects meet technical standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.

• Project Management
• Site Supervision
• Quality Assurance

• Planning & Design:
  Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations
• Use engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, etc.) for design and modeling
• Develop cost estimates, project timelines, and resource plans
• Oversee and coordinate construction activities on-site
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and schedule
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, architects, and regulatory authorities
• Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans
• Inspect construction work to verify compliance with design, safety, and quality standards
• Issue site instructions and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Review and approve technical drawings and contractor submissions
• Perform quality checks, audits, and testing procedures
• Troubleshoot design and construction issues
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred for senior roles)
• Professional certification (PE, Chartered Engineer, or equivalent) is an advantage
• 3–10+ years of experience depending on the job level
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methods
• Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP
  2000, ETABS, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Strong project management and organizational abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork

• Lifting and Carrying:
  Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Mobility:
  Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells
• Communication:
  Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively
• Focus and Multitasking:
  Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively
• Safety Equipment:
  Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
• Personal Mobility and Reflexes:
  Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary
