Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager

As the ECC Manager, you will oversee all technical back-office engineering activities—including installation systems, firestop, and anchoring layout design. You’ll guide your team to produce high-quality, value-engineered projects, while continuously improving our workflows and engineering standards.
What You'll do- Manage and steer the execution of all ECC back-office engineering operations.
- Lead, develop, and coach a team of 4–5 design engineers and interns.
- Define and implement operational excellence initiatives to execute projects faster, leaner, and with higher impact.
- Ensure accurate, high-quality technical designs for installation systems, firestop, and anchoring applications.
- Drive alignment with technical, supply, marketing, and quality teams to remove bottlenecks, mitigate risk, and optimize project flow.
- Build a strong pipeline of engineering talent with potential for future leadership roles (FEM → Head of Engineering).
- Support cross‑functional project teams, coach project leaders, and elevate engineering capability across the organization.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, standardization, and digitalization initiatives within Hilti’s Engineering Competency Center.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant experience in:
- back-office design engineering
- BIM / IPS and installation systems design
- technical coaching/training
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and leadership capabilities
- Experience in firestop, anchoring, MEP, or installation design is a strong advantage
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Customer‑centric, proactive, and team‑oriented
- Passion for engineering excellence and process optimization
- Strong potential for future roles such as FEM and Head of Engineering
