Mechanical Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Draftsman with a strong Mechanical background and at least 6 years of experience in the UAE to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate drawings for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing) in accordance with project specifications, consultant requirements, and local authority regulations.

• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings for mechanical systems (HVAC, water supply, drainage).
• Coordinate with MEP engineers, architects, and other drafting personnel to ensure design integrity and accuracy.
• Modify and update drawings based on site conditions, consultant comments, and coordination meetings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards, codes, and authority regulations (DEWA, DCD, DM, etc.).
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings for procurement and estimation purposes.
• Maintain a systematic archive of drawings and project documentation.
• Attend coordination meetings and participate in resolving design conflicts.
• Prepare As-Built drawings based on site installation and markups.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4- 6 years of experience in the UAE in a similar role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software preferred.
• Familiar with UAE building regulations and authority approval processes (DEWA, DCD, DM, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and their installation practices.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Available to join immediately or on short notice.
• Prior experience working on high-rise buildings, villas, or commercial projects in the UAE.
