Job Description:
The Senior Engineer - FJC (Field Joint Coating) requires hands on experience on:
- Field Joint Coating, automatic blasting
- IMPU (Injected Molded Poly Urethane)
- IMPP (Injected Molded Poly Propylene)
- Coating production
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assist in selecting anti-corrosion coatings and thermal insulation materials under guidance, ensuring compliance with project standards.
- Support preparation of basic engineering documents such as specifications, reports, and simple calculations for Pre-FEED/FEED phases.
- Help review vendor and subcontractor submissions, participate in bid clarifications, and maintain documentation.
- Provide on-site support for Field Joint Coating (FJC) activities, including equipment setup and basic operational tasks.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams for material handling and ensure timely delivery of coating-related items.
- Contribute to project meetings and risk assessments, assisting senior engineers with technical inputs and progress reporting.
Essential Qualifications and
Education:
- Minimum 7-10 Years of Experience in FJC (Field Joint Coating) activities
- Ability to work well and support other team members
- Willing to relocate to Jebel Ali
- Organized and Detailed Oriented
- Proficient in activities such as:
Field Joint Coating, automatic blasting, induction heating, FBE (Fusion Bonded Epoxy), HSS (Heat Shrink Sleeve), IMPU (Injected Molded Poly Urethane), IMPP (Injected Molded Poly Propylene), Coating production, Offshore pipelay installation (S-lay & J-lay)
