What will you be doing?
Subsea7 is hiring a Hook Up Specialist working in the Operations department. They will be in charge to support and coordinate the electrical and instrumentation hook‑up activities, onshore and offshore, as well as oversee vendor and subcontractor management and maintain a good relationship with the client.
The Hook Up Specialist will oversee developing technical requisitions for material and equipment required for hook‑up activities, as well as for the technical scope of work for subcontracted services. Working on offshore hook‑up campaign---------- preparation, they will be responsible for developing job cards, material trackers, tie‑in lists, and all activity lists.
Key Responsibilities Onshore- Lead all relevant engineering documents (P&, loop checks, wiring diagrams, technical datasheets, cable schedule).
- Manage materials, job cards and bags & tags prior to offshore works.
- Implement all applicable procedures (hook‑up execution plan, safety and risk assessment, installation procedures).
- Develop interface requests, request for information, site queries to final client when additional information is required.
- Report safety observations regularly to maintain a high safety standard level in the work site.
- Lead site toolbox talks and be proactive in safety.
- Lead offshore surveys (Tie‑in point identification, site routing, identify potential clashes).
- Provide inputs to update offshore planning (hook‑up sequences, physical progress).
- Prepare offshore material requests based on work sequences and schedule.
- Supervise electrical and instrumentation installation work on site. Ensure E&I subcontractor is working according to Subsea7 safety and quality standards, and work is delivered according to client expectations.
- Engineering Degree associated with Structural and Piping Engineering experience.
- Previous experience in topsides E&I construction activities.
- Ability to propose decisions on technical items, resources, procurement.
- 10 years minimum of relevant work experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of standard office software (MS Office, MS Project).
- Fluent in English language.
