Application Engineer

Fläkt Group in Dubai is operating in a range of business applications including Data Centre , Indoor Climate , Pharmaceutical , Oil & Gas & Service . Products include AHU, FCU, CCU & other HVAC products & services .

Main Purpose of Role:

To support the front line Sales Team of Dubai to achieve the order booking target in terms of top line volume at targeted margin. Candidate must be knowledgeable about the AHU & Close Control Units selection tools .

The main duties and responsibilities will include inter-alia:

• Technical support on Pre Sales activities on various enquiries .
• Select AHU , Close Control & other HVAC products using Flakt Group selection software.
• To prepare Technical submittal along with Sales Engineers .
• To understand requirement for the products for a particular project.
• Analyze, Interpret tender documents and prepare technical specification /Compliance for submittal
• To discuss with customers /System Integrators /Partners to resolve technical issues.
• Co-ordinate with Flakt Group factories during Order placement.
• Liaise with Sales & Factory on Design changes required by Customer
• Support Sales Team during the entire selling process.

Person Specification/Profile:

• Must be minimum a Diploma in Mechanical Engineer from an acceptable Engineering college .
• Should have minimum 5 years’ experience as an Application Engineer.
• Must have good communication skills in English;
  Arabic will be added advantage.
• Must have a pleasing personality.
• Must be able to work in a Team.
