We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Steel Structure Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Steel Structure Designer, you will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality structural designs that are not only efficient but also cost-effective.
- Develop and design steel structures based on client specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to determine structural specifications.
- Utilize industry-standard software for the creation of detailed structural designs.
- Analyze and test designs for structural feasibility and compliance with standards.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and documentation of design processes.
- Ensure all designs adhere to industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of project phases.
- Review and revise designs based on feedback and project constraints.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior design team members.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in steel structure technologies.
- Participate in construction site visits to evaluate structural installations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design methods and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in steel structure design and engineering.
- Proficient in design and analysis software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or Tekla.
- Strong understanding of structural codes, standards, and building regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Effective communication skills for teamwork and client interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines efficiently.
