We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to support site supervision of infrastructure projects
, including roads and bridges
, in Dubai
. This role is offered on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract and will support projects delivered in accordance with RTA standards and requirements
.
The Land Surveyor will be responsible for setting out, surveying, and verifying construction works to ensure accuracy, compliance with approved drawings, and alignment with project specifications. The role requires strong site presence, coordination with contractors, and adherenceانت to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Carry out setting out and surveying works for road and bridge infrastructure projects, including:
- Horizontal and vertical alignment
- Road geometry and levels
- Bridge structures, foundations, and associated civil works
- Verify line, level, and dimensions of construction works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and RTA requirements.
- Review and confirm contractor survey data, calculations, and setting‑out reports.
- Conduct as‑built surveys and assist in the preparation and verification of as‑built drawings.
- Monitor compliance of survey works with project tolerances and quality standards.
- Coordinate closely with site supervision teams, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Identify discrepancies or errors in survey data and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain accurate survey records, field notes, and reports in line with project and RTA documentation requirements.
- Ensure survey activities are carried out in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- Support audits, inspections, and handover documentation as required.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
. - Minimum 7 years of experience in land surveying for infrastructure projects
, particularly roads and bridges. - Proven experience working on RTA projects in Dubai with strong knowledge of RTA surveying standards and procedures.
- Proficiency in survey equipment such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, and Auto Levels
. - Strong working knowledge of survey software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent).
- Experience in preparing and verifying as‑built surveys and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Ability to work independently in a site‑based, fast‑paced environment.
- Availability for a 6‑month contract with the ability to start as required.
