Job Description:
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our engineering team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting mechanical systems and components to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. This role involves conducting site inspections, preparing reports, and collaborating with project teams to resolve any mechanical issues during construction and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct inspections of mechanical installations in commercial buildings, retail outlets, malls, and renovation projects.
- Ensure all mechanical work complies with design specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Identify and document any defects or non‑conformities and recommend corrective actions.
- Review and verify mechanical drawings, specifications, and work procedures.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure timely completion of mechanical works.
- Maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation for project records.
- Monitor progress and quality of mechanical work on‑site regularly.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all inspection activities.
- Minimum 8 years of overall experience in mechanical inspection or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in the UAE.
- Experience in commercial buildings, retail outlets, malls, and renovation projects.
- Possession of a valid driving license and personal car.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, codes, and standards.
- Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Notice Period: 15 days to 1 month
Preferred Skills- Familiarity with local UAE regulations and standards.
- Prior experience working with large‑scale commercial projects.
- Proactive problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
