Piping & Plumbing Draughtsman_ Oil & Gas
Job Summary:
As a Piping & Plumbing Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for piping and plumbing systems for our various projects. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure accurate and efficient designs that meet industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Create detailed technical drawings and plans for piping and plumbing systems using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and material lists.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information and measurements for design purposes.
- Communicate and coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Stay updated with industry standards and codes related to piping and plumbing systems.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project proposals.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on Fabrication, Modular Building, and EPC projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other drafting software.
- Knowledge of piping and plumbing systems, materials, and industry standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and surveys.
