We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Draughtsman to join our client's team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and opportunities for growth.
As a Structural Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for structural components and systems in the Oil & Gas industry. You must have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a strong background in fabrication, modular building, and EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities- Create detailed technical drawings and plans for structural components and systems in the Oil & Gas industry
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings
- Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Prepare material take-offs and assist with procurement activities
- Participate in site visits and provide support during construction and installation phases
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all drawings and revisions
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology related to structural drafting
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, modular building, and EPC projects
- Experience with structural calculations and analysis
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel for site visits and project meetings
