Fit- Draftsman & Estimator

We are looking for an Estimator cum Draftsman with strong knowledge in Interior Fit Out Works. This is a full-time position based in Dubai, UAE. We are hiring only candidates who have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Fit-out and Joinery company and are currently in UAE.

• Responsible for complete quantity take-off, cost analysis, estimation, and studies for joinery, wooden, MEP, and interior fit-out works.
• Calculate material, labour, and overall project costs, ensuring estimates remain accurate and within budget.
• Conduct estimation and cost-control activities, including identifying cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope.
• Prepare BOQs, quotations, tender submissions, take-offs, and bid/proposal documents for various contract types.
• Assess subcontractor and supplier proposals to confirm scope coverage and identify any risks or gaps.
• Determine required but non-indicated scope through detailed review of site conditions, drawings, and contract documents.
• Work closely with operations, engineering teams, and other estimators to capture all General Conditions and project requirements in the estimate.
• Maintain and regularly update supplier and subcontractor databases, including pre-qualification for tender lists.
• Maintain department resource libraries, drawing records, and documentation for submission and approvals.
• Prepare architectural drawings for interior fit-out projects and ensure proper coordination with MEP layouts.
• Review and interpret architectural drawings to coordinate, integrate, and align MEP services.
• Update and revise drawings as required by site instructions, design changes, or client feedback.
• Coordinate with project engineers, architects, suppliers, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Assist with quantity take-offs and material schedules related to MEP and fit-out works when needed.
• Produce accurate estimates for complex projects in a timely manner while supporting win‑strategy development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in AutoCAD, estimation & costing with a Joinery and fit-out company.
• A bachelor's in civil engineering, architecture, or equivalent years of work experience.
• Professional certifications in estimating or project management are a plus.
• AutoCAD Certification/ Diploma.
• Strong background in fit-out Residential estimating (Villa & apartment Projects).
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools with analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of Dubai's building regulations and standards.
• Must have valid UAE Driving License and own Car.
