Arup is seeking an Urban Planning Consultant to join our Dubai office. In this role, you will contribute to a variety of exciting projects across the Middle East, working within our dynamic Planning and Design team. You will have the opportunity to shape sustainable cities, from strategic policy and strategy advice to city‑ and region‑scale master plans and plans, working on some of the most creative and challenging projects in the sector.

Is passionate about creating sustainable urban environments and policy frameworks and delivering impactful planning solutions. Excels at analyzing data, drawing meaningful insights, and communicating findings through compelling storytelling. Conduct site and data analysis, research, and report writing. Lead technical inputs, including reports, presentations, and analysis.

We are looking for the following skills.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in urban planning, Public Policy or a related field.
• Work experience with a design consultancy or contractor.
• Understanding of specialist data analytics software, GIS software (e.g. QGIS, ArcGIS). Desirable.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn about UAE and KSA agency systems and processes.
