Role Summary
The Technical & Asset Support position will provide support and assistance to the Technical Operations Team
and ROVOP business, ensuring that the company achieves operational excellence throughout all aspects of
the business.
Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
ï£ Support offshore teams to coordinate maintenance activities so as not to interfere with client’s critical
path activities
ï£ Responsible for ensuring all preventative and general maintenance is carried out by offshore teams
and supporting records completed and submitted
ï£ Responsible for ensuring system inventories are maintained and submitted as expected
ï£ Prepare formal procedures / reports as required in support of technical team
ï£ Ensure technical reports are completed and submitted at the end of each offshore cycle relating to all
aspects of the project and technical repairs carried out
ï£ Support all engineering, maintenance, procedures, and certification for system mob / demobilisation
as required
ï£ Responsible for review and update of system and equipment specification sheets
ï£ Provide technical support to the ROV teams as required
ï£ Support SCM and logistics teams with selection of and hire / purchase of spares & consumables,
receipt of goods, distribution, and logistics
ï£ Technical / SCM support to Project / Asset Managers and the Commercial team
ï£ Employees should make themselves aware of and understand responsibilities as detailed within
processes on Business Management System.
About You
You should have extensive Technical & Operational experience in the ROV industry, have Project Management
experience of global projects and ideally be familiar with all aspects of subsea operations relating to ROVOP's
offshore activities. In-depth knowledge ROV Systems currently being utilised by ROVOP, along with SCM
awareness would be advantageous.
You should be PC literate with proven experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages including Word,
Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
