Job Summary

Land Surveyor – Dubai, United Arab Emirates

• Review contract shop drawings and ensure their revision approval and comprehension of details.
• Assist the technical department with all necessary detail requirements for shop drawing preparation.
• Ensure the original ground levels existing condition survey is carried out and documented prior to excavation work.
• Advise on survey requirements as directed by the project manager/technical manager.
• Maintain all survey equipment with valid calibration certificates at all times and in good working condition.
• Maintain and update the survey instrument, list, and calibration records monthly.
• Check with the technical department for any shop drawing clarifications or additional information.
• Oversee the establishment of survey control stations and ensure survey control points remain in good condition.
• Establish a good working relationship with the consultant and client staff on site.
• Coordinate with other departments or subcontractors for assistance.
• Check shop drawings and prepare details per site requirements.
• Ensure a system is in place to coordinate and conduct survey checks with the consultants, surveyors, inspectors, etc. for works as per RFAs approval.
• Reject site work that is not compliant.
• Maintain and review records related to RFAs approval and rejection of site works.

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Survey Engineering.
• 5 Years of relevant work experience in building projects.
