An expansive, contemporary downtown mega project spanning 19km2 that is part of the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative. Central to this endeavour is a 400m2 cube‑shaped supertall skyscraper, capable of accommodating the equivalent of 20 Empire State Buildings.

This downtown is grounded in the principles of sustainability featuring green areas, pedestrian‑friendly paths, cycling routes, and eco zones to enhance residents’ well‑being and promote healthy lifestyles and community engagement.

The project will include an iconic museum, a cutting‑edge technology and design university, and a multipurpose immersive theatre among 80 state‑of‑the‑art entertainment and culture venues, 300k m2 of retail space, and home for hundreds of thousands of residents.

• Building Services/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree from an internationally recognised university.
• Chartered Engineer affiliated with the relevant professional institute.
• 15 years experience delivering major projects.
• 10 years experience in a multi‑disciplinary team leader position.
• Exhibits an extensive grasp of MEP and building services design processes, demonstrating leadership in a specialised field.
• Displays a strong emphasis on sustainability.
• Established track record of technical accomplishments, successful project delivery, and high client satisfaction in construction and consultancy settings.
• Skilled in interfacing with Contractors, Clients, and their representatives.
• Showcases demonstrable leadership, management, developmental, and coordination skills within the MEP Design Team, including overseeing budgets and scheduling.
• Possesses commercial acumen.
• Oversees coordination with other services and/or sub‑consultants, interacting with multiple internal and external stakeholders while managing change control.
• Communicates effectively, with proficient spoken and written English skills.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal abilities, adept at building and nurturing relationships.
• Pays attention to detail and leverages technical expertise to analyse problems and provide solutions to challenges.
• Adapts to diverse cultural and professional settings.
• Proficient in commonly used project design and development software, including Microsoft and BIM applications.
