Quantity Surveyor
Location:
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
- Assist in quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender documentation while supporting senior surveyors and maintaining accurate measurement records.
- Prepare cost estimates for MEP systems, conduct value engineering, manage project variations, collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain budgeting and cost control systems, review project costs and compliance, and ensure effective communication and teamwork.
- Lead tendering and estimation, manage commercial activities, oversee payments, mentor team, and ensure compliance.
- Prepare and evaluate Interim Payment Applications, manage contractual correspondence, and ensure cost control for mid‑rise building projects with a strong consultancy background.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs, verify quantities, prepare payment applications, and support cost forecasts for mechanical construction in Oil and Gas.
- Prepare cost estimates, manage contracts, conduct risk assessments, oversee procurement and monitoring budgets, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare bills of quantities, evaluate subcontractor quotations, manage project expenditures, and ensure compliance with industry standards and ADNOC standards.
- Analyze tender documents, prepare cost estimates, conduct risk assessments, liaise with subcontractors for competitive quotes.
- Prepare billing, perform quantity take‑offs, handle cost analysis, support management with reports.
- Manage post‑contract quantity surveying for high‑rise residential towers, ensuring compliance with standards and optimizing project costs with MRICS qualification.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in quantity surveying.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and payment management for MEP systems.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying and strong analytical skills.
- Engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil, or relevant) or a Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of FIDIC, ADNOC standards, and post‑contract administration.
- MRICS certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and computer skills.
- Understanding of MEP systems and construction regulations.
- Experience with procurement support, drawing review, and quotation evaluation.
