As a Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for construction projects, coordinate with consultants, clients, and site teams to resolve technical issues and ensure that all project requirements are effectively met.
Responsibilities- Responsible for Engineering process of all Electrical / ELV Systems.
- Review IFC design against authority compliance.
- Managing a team of 10 to 15 Draftsmen for shop drawings & As‑Built drawings production.
- Preparation of Engineering Calculations during construction.
- Coordinating with Mech / Civil / architectural / Structural disciplines engineering team.
- Preparation of material submittals, Engineering Drawings & Calculations etc.
- Review of material submittals, Engineering Drawings & Calculations etc.
- Preparation of DEWA submissions.
- Should have in depth knowledge in DEWA / DCD / Etisalat regulations.
- Review of material Submittals.
- Review of Purchase request from Project team for compliance.
- To develop Shop drawings and detailed Electrical / ELV drawings as per IFC & project specifications.
- To develop Equipment control philosophies as per IFC & project specifications.
- Technical Support to the Project team with accurate drawings from design to execution & handover.
- Maintaining detailed Logs for materials, shop drawings & RFI’s etc.
- Preparation of BoQ.
- Raising RFI’s & Responding to RFI’s.
- Preparation of RFP’s to Procurement & Coordination Follow up with procurement.
- Strong interaction with Site management for day‑to‑day site technical requirements.
- Attending site meetings to discuss projects, engineering deliverable requirements etc.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the UAE

. - Proven track record in building construction projects (residential, commercial, or high‑rise).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes and authority requirements (e.g., DEWA).
