Responsibilities- Act as the PCS 7 portfolio expert – guiding customers and internal teams on architecture, sizing, engineering approach, and migration strategies based on deep automation know‑how.
- Support Account Managers and Technical Sales by translating customer pain points into PCS 7 solutions that fit their technical and operational environment.
- Drive PCS 7‑related opportunities end‑to‑end: defining the solution approach, positioning Siemens’ value vs competitors, and accelerating deal closure.
- Explain PCS 7 concepts simply – including system design, redundancy, plant network integration, cybersecurity add‑ons and project execution flow.
- Identify new PCS 7 business opportunities in greenfield, brownfield, modernization and upgrade projects across the region.
- Work closely with engineering, delivery and service teams to ensure a smooth handover and successful PCS 7 execution for long‑term customer retention.
- Strong automation engineering background with hands‑on PCS 7 experience (configuration, architecture design, migration, troubleshooting).
- Deep understanding of process automation systems, DCS concepts, industrial networking and OT cybersecurity fundamentals relevant to PCS 7 deployments.
- Ability to speak both “technical” and “business” – turning PCS 7 capabilities into clear value propositions for plant managers, engineers and procurement teams.
- Experience working directly with customers in Oil & Gas, Utilities, Water, Chemicals or similar industries where PCS 7 is widely used.
- A proactive, opportunity‑driven mindset – spotting PCS 7 upsell, upgrade and modernization opportunities and driving them with the sales team.
- Strong collaboration skills – working with Account Managers, Technical Sales and delivery teams to ensure a unified approach to positioning PCS 7.
- Confidence in customer‑facing engagements: workshops, technical discussions, architecture reviews and competitive positioning of Siemens vs other DCS vendors.
• 2–3 days of mobile work per week as a global standard.
