We are looking for an Assistant Signalling Engineer to support the signalling design team in our Dubai office.
Responsibilities- Support the incorporation and close‑out of signalling review comments across drawings and documents.
- Assist in preparing and updating signalling drawings, including cable layouts (loops, yards, and mainline sections), equipment layouts, interfaces, signalling schematics, and related design documentation.
- Support coordination with Track, Telecom, Power, and other disciplines to ensure signalling deliverables reflect agreed interfaces.
- Assist in maintaining comment registers, action logs, and design trackers, as directed by the Lead Signalling Engineer.
- Support preparation for IDC/IDR reviews and the incorporation of agreed outcomes.
- Carry out consistency checks between track plans/profiles and signalling drawings, escalating any issues to the Senior Signalling Engineer.
- Support document control activities, version management, and submission readiness.
- Escalate technical queries, inconsistencies, or missing inputs promptly to the Lead or Senior Signalling Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 3‑5 years of experience in railway signalling.
- Familiarity with signalling design deliverables and review processes.
- Basic understanding of railway signalling principles (ETCS Level 2 or conventional signalling preferred).
- Experience working with CAD drawings and engineering documentation.
- Ability to progress assigned tasks independently under technical direction.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple actions concurrently.
