Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a valid G-category license to join their growing construction team in Dubai. The role covers design, execution, and supervision of building projects up to the height/level permitted by the engineer's G-category license (G+1, G+2, G+3, G+4, G+5, G+ unlimited) as per Dubai Municipality regulations. The engineer will work on various projects across Dubai, ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit design drawings, BOQs, and method statements in line with Dubai Building Codes and the specific G-license limits.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance with the approved G-level scope.
• Oversee day to day construction activities, ensuring work meets G-license specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Conduct regular site inspections, maintain inspection logs, and issue site directives.
• Liaise with Dubai Municipality and other local authorities to obtain necessary permits and G-license endorsements for all G levels.
• Ensure all submissions (drawings, structural calculations, risk assessments) are signed and stamped by the G-licensed engineer.
• Maintain up to date project documentation: daily reports, progress photos, variation orders, and closeout files.
• Prepare and present project status updates to senior management and clients.
• Implement and enforce UAE safety regulations (e.g., Dubai Civil Defense, OSHAD) and the specific safety requirements tied to the G-level of the project.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff on G-license requirements and best practices for all G levels.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Valid G-category license issued by Dubai Municipality (any G level: G+1, G+2, G+3, G+4, G+5, G+ unlimited).
• Minimum 5 years of UAE/Gulf construction experience; senior roles require 8+ years.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, Primavera / MSProject, and structural analysis software.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Building Codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, and G-license scope limits for all G levels.
• Excellent English (written & spoken);
  Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to travel and work on multiple sites across Dubai.
