Geotechnical Engineer – Marine Projects

To lead geotechnical investigation, design, analysis, and construction support for major marine infrastructure projects including ports, harbors, quay walls, breakwaters, reclamation, and coastal protection works.

• Plan, supervise and interpret geotechnical site investigations (onshore / offshore).
• Conduct soil profiling, boreholes, CPT, laboratory testing, and reporting.
• Analyze geotechnical parameters and recommend foundation solutions.
• Support design and construction of:
• Breakwaters
• Quay Walls
• Jetties
• Piling Works
• Provide technical recommendations to site teams and stakeholders.
• Prepare geotechnical reports, calculations, design notes, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and UAE regulations.
• Support procurement and technical submissions.

• Work closely with design teams, contractors, and consultants.
• Attend meetings, workshops and provide engineering input.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Attested by UAE Embassy & MOFA).
• Transcripts attested.
• Minimum:
• 10+ years experience for Dubai
• 5–7 years for Abu Dhabi
• Previous work with major marine contractors is a plus.
• MOHESR Recognition & SOE Card preferred / required.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

• Geo-technical software experience:
• PLAXIS
• SAFE
• SLOPE/W
• GEO5
• Advanced soil interpretation and foundation design.
